Construction is in full swing at our major development site in Kirchbichl, Austria. We’re now moving into the next phase of the Office Tower project: the tower crane is officially in place!
Over the past few days, some of the most impressive equipment in modern construction has arrived on site to help us build this 55-meter-tall office tower, floor by floor.
The Facts Behind the Crane System
- The Foundation: More than 101 m³ of reinforced concrete (9 × 9 × 1.25 m) provide the solid foundation needed to withstand the enormous forces involved.
- The Tower Crane (WT 650 e.tronic): With a hook height of 70 m, a maximum tower height of over 80 m, and a 50-meter jib, this powerhouse can lift loads of up to 32 metric tons.
- The Mobile Crane (Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1): One of the most powerful eight-axle mobile cranes was brought in for the installation, offering a maximum reach of 103 meters.
