Heading into the future with green architecture.
Sustainable construction and management represent one of the most significant and pressing challenges of our time – one that HorizonQuarter has been committed to addressing from the very first design concept.
The HorizonQuarter is being built sustainably.
It ensures high comfort and low operating costs for owners and tenants—especially in energy, cleaning, and maintenance. For this reason, it has received the DGNB Gold pre-certification.
Sustainability as a guiding principle
A building designed to be future-oriented and highly innovative requires a comprehensive approach to sustainability. From the very beginning, sustainability has been a guiding principle in the project’s development and has steered the planning process in a clear and consistent direction. The certification body DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) recognizes these efforts by awarding the planning concept with Gold Pre-Certification.
Gold-level pre-certification signifies that the building meets stringent sustainability criteria and that particular emphasis is placed on the use of environmentally friendly construction materials. In addition, numerous energy-efficiency measures are being implemented to minimize energy consumption. Strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to enhance biodiversity are also being put into practice. Furthermore, careful attention is given to ensuring that materials can be reused or recycled, thereby closing resource cycles and minimizing long-term environmental impact.
The certification represents a significant quality benchmark, underscoring our strong commitment to environmental protection and sustainability—both during construction and throughout ongoing operations.
"The new HorizonQuarter offers an attractive environment for innovative and forward-looking individuals—not only through its unique location, but also through its exceptional architecture"
